Trust – The Risk That Changes Everything
Leaning on God When the Outcome Is Unknown
I used to think I was pretty good at trusting God—until life gave me something I couldn’t control.
For me, it was a season of unanswered questions. I was praying for clarity, asking for direction, pleading for something—anything—that felt solid. But instead, I got silence. Delay. Closed doors. Unknowns.
And I don’t know about you, but I hate not knowing.
I like plans. I like checklists. I like feeling like I’m moving forward.
But God wasn’t giving me a roadmap.
He was giving me an invitation.
Not to certainty… but to trust.
And that’s when I realized:
Trust isn’t about feeling safe. It’s about choosing surrender when you don’t.
Scripture-Based Reflection
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6 (ESV)
This verse is beautiful… and frustrating.
