I don’t know what your week has looked like. Maybe it’s been busy, maybe it’s been broken. Maybe you’ve felt close to God… or maybe you’ve felt far from Him. Either way, here’s something I want you to hold onto today:

You are deeply loved by Jesus—and He’s not going anywhere.

When I think of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, I picture love that doesn't flinch. A love that steps into our mess. A love that bears wounds, not to shame us, but to save us.

Growing up, I used to see the image of the Sacred Heart—Jesus pointing to His heart, aflame, pierced, wrapped in thorns—and I didn’t fully understand it. But now, I realize: it’s His whole story, and mine too.

What Is the Sacred Heart, Really?
The Sacred Heart isn’t just a Catholic devotion—it’s a personal invitation.

It’s the heart of Christ—beating with mercy, burning with compassion, broken for you and me.

This is the heart that:

  • Wept at the tomb of Lazarus

  • Rejoiced with the lost sheep

  • Cried out on the Cross, “Father, forgive them”

  • Still loves you when you're at your lowest

The Catechism says, "Jesus knew and loved us each and all during his life, his agony and his Passion and gave himself up for each one of us." (CCC 478)

This isn’t just theology—it’s truth for your soul. He didn’t love the idea of humanity. He loved you—by name, with scars to prove it.
