Verse of the Day:
“For we live by believing and not by seeing.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT)
There are days when you just don’t feel God.
You might pray and feel nothing.
Open your Bible and walk away unchanged.
Go to church and feel like everyone else is on fire for God—except you.
In those moments, the enemy will whisper:
“See? It’s not real.”
“You’re not close to God.”
“Something’s wrong with you.”
But that’s a lie.
Because faith isn’t about how you feel—it’s about Who you trust, even when your feelings don’t line up.
🌫Feelings Fade—God Doesn’t
God never promised we would always feel His presence.
But He did promise that He would never leave us.
“For God has said, ‘I will never fail you. I will never abandon you.’”
— Hebrews 13:5 (NLT)
Feelings are like the weather—they change. They’re real, but they’re not reliable foundations.
That’s why God calls us to walk by faith, not feelings. Because faith says:
“God is with me—even if I can’t feel Him.”
“God’s promises are true—even if I don’t see results.”
“God is working—even when life feels silent.”
Stay Connected in the Silence
Just like a lamp doesn’t shine brighter by forcing it—it just needs to stay plugged in—your faith is sustained by connection, not performance.
So if you feel spiritually dry, here’s the encouragement: stay connected.
Keep showing up in prayer, even if all you can say is “God, help.”
Keep opening your Bible, even if it feels like reading a textbook some days.
Keep walking with Him—even in the fog.
He sees your effort. And He honors your faithfulness.

🙏 A Prayer to Start Your Day
God, I don’t always feel close to You—and that’s hard. But I believe You are near, even in the silence. Help me walk by faith, not by what I feel. Strengthen my heart and remind me that You are working behind the scenes, even when I don’t see it. I trust You—still. Amen.
