Verse of the Day:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.”
— Psalm 34:18 (NLT)
Heartbreak isn’t just about relationships.
It can come from losing someone you love, watching your plans fall apart, being betrayed, or simply carrying a hope that never comes true.
Whatever form it takes—heartbreak leaves you feeling cracked open. Vulnerable. Numb. Alone.
And in the middle of it, the enemy whispers: “See? God’s not here. He let this happen.”
But that’s not the truth.
The truth is this:
When your heart is breaking, God is not distant—He’s closer than ever. He’s not sitting silently in the sky watching you suffer. He’s beside you. He’s holding every tear. And He’s doing what only He can do: healing you from the inside out.
You’re Not Meant to Heal Alone
We often try to deal with heartbreak in isolation. We pretend we’re fine, scroll through distractions, or numb ourselves with busyness. But healing doesn't happen in hiding.
God invites us to bring our broken pieces to Him.
He doesn’t need you to have it all together. He just needs you to be honest.
David—the man who wrote the Psalms—was called a man after God’s own heart, and he constantly cried out in pain, fear, and confusion. But he always came to God, not away from Him.
That’s the invitation for you too.
God Can Heal What You Don’t Understand
There’s a sacred kind of beauty that comes from brokenness surrendered to God.
The kind that says, “I don’t get this... but I trust You.”
That trust creates space for restoration.
You might not get answers to all your whys, but you will get peace, growth, and a stronger faith than you had before.
God isn’t done with your story.
The brokenness you feel today can become the breakthrough someone else needs tomorrow.

A Prayer to Start Your Day
Father, I don’t have the words. My heart is hurting, and I don’t understand why this had to happen. But I choose to believe that You are close to the brokenhearted, like Your Word says. Please come near. Hold me, heal me, and help me believe again. I give You every shattered piece. Make something beautiful from this, in Your time. Amen.
