If Part 1 of Joshua was about stepping into God’s promises, Part 2 is about living them out. And as you know from experience, entering the land is only the beginning. Possessing it, maintaining it, and being faithful in it—that’s the real journey.
Just like in your own life, the spiritual victories you’ve experienced still need to be nurtured. You don’t just want to arrive—you want to remain faithful.
Living in the Land of Promise
The second half of Joshua covers the distribution of land to the tribes of Israel. At first glance, it may seem like dry detail—but if you sit with it, you’ll see something deeper.
Each tribe, each boundary, each city listed—it all reflects a fulfilled promise. God didn’t forget. He didn’t leave anything out. What He said He would do, He did.
But here’s where it gets personal: Just like the Israelites, you’ve been given an inheritance, too. You may not have land to claim, but you have grace, purpose, gifts, and a place in God’s kingdom. The question is—will you live like it?
