Setting: Morning light floods the hillside. The long dialogue nears its end. Two men. One taught the world how to think. The other came to save it.
Socrates (calm, reflective):
I have often said I am a midwife—not of bodies, but of souls. I do not teach truth. I help others birth it. Through questions, tension, and reason, men discover what has always been within them.
Jesus:
And yet many are dead inside. What is there to birth when the soul is lost?
Socrates (pauses):
Then you believe men cannot find truth in themselves?
Jesus:
No. They can find fragments—reflections. But the full truth cannot be discovered. It must be revealed. Not pulled out of man—but placed into him.
Socrates (intently):
So you do not draw out wisdom. You deliver it?
